For 20+ years Audio MotorSports has been here for Los Angeles people who care about how the work is done. When social media, Yelp, and Google changed how shops get found, we did not chase volume. We grew into a community. We put our love into the four services we do — car stereo, window tint, car alarm, and Harley — and we have done the same cars over and over, every make and model, until we knew them.

I was shopping around for a subwoofer online, but nothing beats going into a store and actually talking to someone. I had some time this weekend, so I stopped by Audio Motorsports to get some advice and ended up just doing the install, since they could do it now, and the price they offered me was great. Nick was an excellent salesperson; he's an old-school guy with a deep history and knowledge of audio, and he helped me get off the fence with the different brands and boxes I was researching. I was originally looking at some subs for under the seat, but ended up getting a Kicker sub with Nick's advice, since he said under-the-seat subs aren't that great and, for the same price, a boxed sub with an amp will sound better. The installation took about an hour and a half, and you can either wait in-store or at a few nearby plazas to eat and wait. The install itself was clean and professional. Overall, loving the bass.
I might be back soon if I upgrade the stock speakers in my ride to improve mid- and high-frequency clarity.
On another note, I didn't know they also do tinting. Nick offered a good deal, but it's too bad I just recently had my tint done elsewhere. If I had known, I would have saved some money on my tint by doing it at Audio Motorsports.

The pricing was honest and transparent from day one, no hidden fees no surprise charges and no attempts to bundle in services I didnt ask for they quoted me fair and stuck to it and in a industry where aggressive sales tactics are so common this shop really stands out for treating customers like intelligent people.
the installation itself was flawless, the technicians were professional and efficient and they positioned the subwoofer perfectly, ran the wiring clean, integrated the amp with my existing system and just made sure everything was dialed in right before I left.
I walked out with a subwoofer and amp that sound incredible and are installed perfect but more than that I walked out knowing I'd been treated fair and that these people actually cared about doing the job right instead of just maximizing the invoice. if your tired of the typical sales pitch where every visit turns into a conversation about upgrades you dont need this is your spot they respect your time your budget and your intelligence and honestly I couldnt recommend them more.

Nick and his team helped install a Pioneer stereo in our 2014 Nissan Juke. He was friendly and explained all the additional connectors/modules/etc we needed for us to maintain steering wheel input and rear view camera capabilities.
When the work was done he was excited to help connect our phones and showed some of the features that the stereo had. The effort and care he showed was above and beyond what I expected from a stereo install.
Finally, I think the labor was fairly priced. The price was very competitive and often less than the other places we called when getting a quote.

I don't know how this place gets anything other than 5 start reviews. Speaking at least from a audio installation perspective. Messaged Audio Motorsport here on Yelp as I was looking to add some bass to my 22 Accord. I received a prompt reply from Nick to give them a call. I called, asked and spoke to Nick and was told it'd be best to come in and go over some options. I stopped in, spoke with both Nick and Zack about what I was trying to achieve. Needed something that wasn't bottom of the line, but also not something super crazy as I just wanted to enhance the bass in my car to make listening to music more enjoyable as the factory system literally has little to no bass. In the end, I ended up with an Alpine S-Type 12" subwoofer, Alpine S-A60M amp, Alpine bass knob, ported box with install and everything for a great deal! They even had me check online prices on-site to compare. I feel like a got a great deal. The install from Enrique was flawless. All panels put back properly, clean wiring at the battery all the way to the back where the amp was mounted. There was a small hiccup that I pointed out post install and it was resolved immediately! There other installers Carlos and Richard were courteous as well. Nothing but good things to say about this business. Great customer service, great install, fair pricing, and takes care of any concerns you may have. I know in the future they'll stand behind their work as well. What more could you ask for?
